Price of 8kw solar energy system

In this article we will explain features of an 8kw solar energy system. An 8kw solar system is good for a family whose monthly consumption is up to 800KWh units of electricity in a month.

Below are the common questions of customers and their answers about an 8kw solar system.

What is the difference between an 8kw and 8kva solar system?

Main difference between 8kw solar system and 8kva solar system is that 8kw system has 8000 watts but 8kva system has 6,400 watts only. Obviously, the number of solar panels will be less in 8kva system as compared to 8kw system. The solar inverter will also be of smaller capacity in 8kva system and load running capacity will also be lesser as compared to 8kw system. Be very careful while comparing solar system quotes of different solar companies, for clarity we suggest customers ask solar company to give you solar system quote in KW rating instead of KVA rating.

How many watts are there in an 8kw system?

Typically, there will be 8,000 watts in an 8kw system. But as currently we are using 540w solar panels, 15 solar panels in an 8kw solar system, which constitutes 8,100 (540x15) watts in total, so you get 100 watts above 8,000 watts with our 8kw system.

What load we can run on the 8kw system?

Keeping in view solar system efficiency losses which can be up to 20% or more, you can only run total load of less than 8,000 watts on an 8Kw solar system.

On an 8kw solar system you can run 3 AC of 1.5ton, 6 fans, 10 led light, 2 refrigerator, 1 domestic water pump, and 1 iron and one air cooler in daytime with load management.

How many units of electricity an 8kw system can produce on a daily and monthly basis?

On average a 1kw solar system can produce up to 4kwh of electricity daily, effectively an 8kw solar system can produce up to 32 kwh units of electricity per day and 960 units per month. Considering the weather impact and solar system power losses, on the safer side we say an 8kw solar system will produce 800 units of electricity in a month on average.

How much area is needed for 8kw system?

One Inverex 540-Watt solar panel length is 7.4 feet and width is 3.72 feet. Considering extra space required for cleaning approximately the roof top area of 672 square feet will be required for an 8kw solar system installation. If we talk about square meters an area of 62 square meter will be required for 8kw solar energy system installation.

Which company solar panels do we use in 8Kw solar energy system?

We use quality solar components in our solar systems and use panels of the best solar companies only. i.e Longi Solar Panel, Trina Solar Panel, Canadian Solar Panel, Jinko Solar Panel, JA Solar Panel, Inverex Solar Panel etc.

Which company solar inverter we use in 8Kw solar energy system?

We are using Growatt Solar Inverter, Huawei Solar Inverter, Inverex Solar Inverter, Tesla Solar Inverter, Crownmicro Solar Inverters, Chint Solar Inverter, or Solarmax Solar Inverter in 6Kw solar systems.

How much battery backup do you offer in 8kw solar system?

Battery backup in 8kw solar system consists of four 150ah tall tubular lead acid batteries (Phoenix solar battery or Hyundai Solar Battery or Osaka Solar Battery). We use Phoenix 150AH Tall Tubular Lead Acid Battery or Hyundai 150AH Tall Tubular Lead Acid Battery or Osaka 150AH Tall Tubular Lead Acid in 8Kw system.

What will be included in 8kw system?

8kw hybrid solar system includes 15 solar panels of 540 watt each, one 9-kw solar inverter, four solar batteries of 150ah each, L2 solar mounting structure, flexible DC wires, AC Wires, and complete solar installation.

What is the price of 8kw hybrid solar system?

The price of an 8kw hybrid solar system which includes battery backup is Pkr. 1,707,000.

What is the price of an 8kw on-grid solar system without battery backup?

The price of an 8kw on grid solar system without battery backup is Pkr. 1,252,000.

You also provide net metering?

Yes, we provide net metering on 8kw solar system. If you want to get more benefits and want to go on zero billing with solar, you should prefer net metering.

For Net Metering 200,000 will be additional (Wapda Meter, Demand Note or equipment etc. cost not included and will be payable by customer)

Disclaimer: Prices are based on PKR/USD exchange rate 293.88 dated 20-Sep-2023. Prices will increase according to the increase in dollar price.
